Creamy Lemon & Garlic Tempeh Pasta

  • 1 block of Better Nature Organic Tempeh
  • Enough pasta for 2-3 portions (we used linguine)
  • Zest and juice of 2 (unwaxed) lemons
  • 1 white onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1⁄2 cup nutritional yeast (optional)
  • 1 pot (plant) cream (Elmlea works well)
  • Salt and pepper


    1. Grab your Better Nature Organic Tempeh and cut into small pieces.
    2. Fry the pieces in a non-stick frying pan with a little oil.
    3. Put your tempeh on one side, and cook down your garlic and onions. Then add in lemon juice, (vegan) cream, some of your pasta water, as well as some lemon zest (and optionally nutritional yeast).
    4. Finally add back your tempeh and cooked pasta.
    5. Mix all together and server with fresh lemon zest and parsley spread on top
