Smoky Tempeh Mac
This comforting Smoky Tempeh Mac is super easy and quick to make - the perfect dinner for a night-in.

ingredients
- 1 pack of Better Nature Smoky Tempeh Rashers
- 1 block vegan cheese
- 250g macaroni (we used GF)
- ½ cup nutritional yeast
- ½ tbsp garlic
- 1 tbsp onion granules
- ⅔ cup unsweetened plant milk
- ¼ tsp black pepper
instructions
- Cook your pasta in boiling water.
- In the meantime, cut the rashers into small pieces or lardons. Fry the rashers in a little oil until crispy.
- In a saucepan, cook the plant milk, seasoning and nutritional yeast and melt in the vegan cheese. Your sauce should go gooey and melty.
- When the pasta is cooked and drained, pour in the sauce and most of the rashers, leaving some aside to add on top of your mac later.
- Plate up, top with fresh herbs and the leftover crispy rashers.
